One course – two seminars

This course is designed for non-German speaking managers who have recently taken over or will soon take over leadership responsibilities. While likely their expert knowledge and professional experience have brought them to this point of their career, their future will largely depend on their communication and interpersonal skills.

The repertoire newly appointed leaders need to develop and master, ranges from

  • conveying difficult messages to integrating different perspectives and views
  • setting clear objectives to demanding their fulfillment
  • gaining influence in the organization to managing their team’s productivity.

This course consists of two seminars and will provide participants with leadership skills and knowledge, the opportunity to practice what they have learnt as well as clearly defined steps and measures to translate the seminars’ content into leadership actions.

During the seminars we will focus on three areas:

Skills and methods, e.g. how to

  • lead challenging discussions
  • deliver successful presentations
  • plan and manage complex tasks

Reflexion of own role and attitudes, e.g. how to

  • capitalize on own strengths and talents
  • identify and develop own potential
  • open up new possibilities in behavior

Business and processes, e.g.

  • goal setting process
  • performance evaluation
  • assessment of potential
